Dr. Monica Das has been Associate Professor in Economics at Delhi University; visiting scholar at UBC, Vancouver, Canada. She is currently member IAFFE, Rice University, Texas. Dr. Das – an author of books on Gender/Girl child/women’s issues pertaining to Economics- is chairperson and Managing Trustee of Fakir Mohan Foundation (FMF), New Delhi.; founder member of Odisha Forum (ODF), New Delhi and remained Jury Member at Doordarshan, Delhi. A maker of an Odia film ‘Anvesan’, she has produced Fakir Mohan Senapati’s poems into a musical CD.
