MK Ajay is the author of three collections of poems: Clawing into Water’s Skin (Poetrywala, Mumbai), Sweetness of Salt (Plain View Press, Austin, Texas) and Facsimile of Beliefs (Writers Workshop, Kolkata). His poems have appeared in several publications including US 1 Worksheets, Orbis, Indian Literature, Chandrabhaga, Kavya Bharati and Ampersand Poetry Journal. He has been a writer-in-residence at the Sanskriti Foundation, New Delhi and One World Foundation, Sri Lanka. He has read his works as a participating writer in at the Hyderabad Literary Festival, at the Renault Mumbai Poetry Festival, and at poetry events in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and New York.
