Dr Subhashree Lenka is a poet and debater and a winner of Chancellor’s Debate. After her post-grad she worked as a lecture for a brief period. She has four collections of poems in Odia. Her poems have been translated into the English by noted poets including Jayanta Mahapatra. She also served as maiden woman secretary, Fakir Mohan Sahitya Parishad, Balasore. She is now serving as state coordinator of Sambad Sahitya Ghara and associated with many philanthropic institutions.
