B. Maria Kumar is a 1985 batch Indian Police Service officer. His collections poetry and other books include ‘Summer Of 2003’, ‘Policing By Common Sense’, ‘To Be Or Not To Be Happy’ and ‘The Teapoy Book Of Love and Romantic Poems’. Some of his works have been translated into Hindi and Russian. His articles on policing appeared in Indian Police Journal and SVPNPA Journal. He is currently posted as Special DG (Cyber) at Bhopal.
