Amanda Bashisha Basaiawmoit (1979) is a poet from Khasi community; she is founding member of the Shillong Literary Coterie; edited ‘Sonder’, an anthology of essays on poetry and short stories of contemporary North East writers. Amanda is currently Assistant Professor in the Department of English in Shillong College. Her poems are published in Muse India, The Criterion, Asian Signature and other journals and magazines.
