Aiswariya Rituparna Pradhan is the first transgender civil servant of India. Presently, she is working as district officer, local fund audit at Puri. Being a transgender, her journey has been tough and full of adversities, rejection  and leg pulling by others. The negative environment has not deterred her and she never gave up. She believes the transgender can do better if given proper platform and opportunity. Transgender people, she says, do not need sympathy, but societal acceptance.
