Abhinna Routray is renowned for his distinctive experimental directorial approach, aiming to bridge the gap left by the lack of fresh concepts in drama, making them more relatable to contemporary audiences. He has acted in 15 stage plays and directed and designed 30 Odia plays, with notable works including Andha Yug, Aadhe Adhure, Kanyadaan, Sita Ek Gadhe Ki Atma Katha, Kamala, Chithi, Samudrare Rajahansi, Devi. Routray’s directorial expertise has earned him recognition and accolades, which includes two of his plays Duiti Surjya Dagdha Phula Ku Nei and Asadha Re Dine being selected and performed at Bharat Rang Mahotsav by National School of Drama. He too has served as the General Secretary of Odisha Natya Sangha.
