Yusuke Miyake was born in Tokyo in 1969 and writes Tanka, Haiku and explores the future and past of Japanese poetry. His poems were also included various poetry anthologies along with the poets from Turkey, Romania and Israel. This fall, a book will be published in which resistance poems by Myanmar poets are translated with other Japanese poets. He is the recipient of Gendai-Tanka criticism Award 2012.
