Mitali Chinara’s life embodies an attempt to balance a profession and passion with élan. An Associate Professor of Economics in the Utkal University by profession, her passion in life has been music. A trained classical vocalist and an “A” grade artist of Doordarshan and AIR, she has performed widely across the length and breadth of the country and abroad. A recipient of the State Award for Best Playback Singer (Female), Mitali has proved her proficiency in different genres of music, for versatility is her forte.
